Olive the Other Trailer

Last Sunday we bought a camper trailer. It was spur of the moment and while we regret nothing, initally we were just browsing to set a budget so we could buy on next year - but - we fell in love with one.

And in my dream we named her Olive.

Our neighbor does not like Olive and made sure to tell us he thinks she's an eyesore. I think he's just sour because we parked her right over where he has his pomeranian poops in our yard.

In my head I wanted a camper that was made in the 60's. You know, a cute little Shasta with a mint colored streak down the sides. CUTE. But we ended up with a beige 1974 model and for that we landed a newer structure, more space and that covetted orange and brown interior.

We have big plans for her and I've even shuffled my current project list around so Olive is ready to go next spring. Let's not throw the term "Glamping" out but it's going to be pretty. Which will be fitting when we get back all muddy from riding the quad.
